Scope and medical information
Zind Health LLC provides non-clinical support. FUSE Health Inc. operates the technology platform and provides non-clinical administrative services. Beluga Health, P.A., or another medical practice identified before care, provides clinical services. Under the Fuse agreement, clinical protected health information is controlled by the applicable clinical practice and handled by FUSE and Zind under the applicable business associate agreements. The treating practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices governs its clinical records; this website policy does not reduce those protections.
Information provided to the public website is not automatically protected by HIPAA. Please use the designated clinical intake or patient portal for medical information rather than ordinary email or public forms.
Information we collect
Information you provide may include your name, email address, other contact details, date of birth, location, account information, support messages, consent choices, and billing or transaction information. Clinical intake collects health information needed by the treating practice, such as symptoms, medical history, allergies, and medications. Zind’s administrative access can include lawfully available contact information, program or order details, purchase and fulfillment dates, transaction amounts, subscription status, and refund history. It does not confer unrestricted access to clinical notes, diagnoses, or treatment records.
When you use the website, technical information may be collected, including IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, access times, referral sources, and interactions with website features. Cookies and similar technologies may support sign-in, security, preferences, measurement of website use, and communication performance. Any optional tracking or advertising use requiring consent is subject to that consent. Clinical information must not be disclosed to advertising providers without the legally required permission. Contact hello@zindhealth.com for questions about cookies or tracking.
We may receive information from service providers, payment processors, and clinical or pharmacy partners when needed to support your requested services and permitted by law.
How information is used
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, maintain accounts, coordinate requested services, process transactions, communicate administrative updates, troubleshoot problems, protect accounts, prevent fraud, maintain records, and meet legal obligations. Information required for clinical care is evaluated by the treating healthcare professionals.
Marketing communications and optional uses of health information require any choices or permissions mandated by applicable law. Acknowledging this policy alone does not authorize the sale of consumer health data, unrelated health-data sharing, or a use that requires separate consent.
Your choices and requests
Email hello@zindhealth.com with the subject “Privacy Request” to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, withdrawal of optional consent, or an applicable opt-out. Depending on your state and the information involved, you may also have rights to know categories and recipients of information, restrict certain processing, opt out of sale or targeted advertising, or act through an authorized agent. We will verify your identity using information reasonably necessary for the request and apply the response deadlines and exceptions required by law. You may appeal a denied request by replying with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will explain the decision and any further complaint options required by law. Exercising a privacy right will not result in unlawful discrimination.
For records controlled by Beluga Health, P.A., contact its Privacy Officer at security@belugahealth.com or its general privacy contact at admin@belugahealth.com. You may write to Beluga Health, P.A., 1321 Upland Dr., Suite 18399, Houston, TX 77043. For pharmacy records, contact the dispensing pharmacy identified on your prescription label or fulfillment communications. Zind can help route requests at hello@zindhealth.com. Ask for a secure submission method before sending medical records. Deleting a Zind account does not automatically delete clinical or pharmacy records that must be retained.
Use the unsubscribe method in promotional emails to stop those messages, or email hello@zindhealth.com. Essential account, billing, or care communications may continue. Browser settings can block or delete some cookies, although blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or use of certain functions. Use any privacy controls presented on the website for optional cookies. Where applicable law requires recognition of a universal opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will apply that signal to the covered processing. Ordinary “Do Not Track” settings may operate differently and are not a substitute for a legally recognized opt-out signal.
Security and retention
We use safeguards intended to protect personal information in light of its sensitivity. No website, device, or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your account credentials and report suspected unauthorized access to hello@zindhealth.com.
Retention depends on the type of information and why it is held. Account and support information is retained while needed to provide services and resolve requests. Transaction, consent, cancellation, refund, and dispute records are retained as needed for accounting, legal obligations, fraud prevention, and the resolution of claims. Clinical and pharmacy records follow the responsible healthcare entity’s legal retention duties. A legal hold may extend retention. Information no longer needed for these purposes is deleted or de-identified, subject to backup and other lawful retention limits. Ask hello@zindhealth.com about retention applicable to a specific record.
Children and outside services
The telehealth enrollment process is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 18 through that process. If you believe a minor has provided information improperly, contact hello@zindhealth.com so we can review and arrange appropriate action with the relevant service provider.
External websites and independently operated services have their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information.
Policy updates and contact
Changes will be posted with an updated effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required for material changes; a policy update alone does not authorize a new use of sensitive information requiring consent. Contact Zind Health LLC at hello@zindhealth.com for privacy questions, requests, or complaints. For clinical privacy matters, contact Beluga Health, P.A.’s Privacy Officer at security@belugahealth.com. Please do not send detailed medical records by ordinary email.
